Respected colleagues,

                 Let me sincerely thank all the members for the active participation in all the programmes of our branch. The number of members attending the programmes are increasing and we programme our activities after considering the views and suggestions given by the members. The responses of members regarding our programmes are very much motivating the committee to organize programmes that are beneficial to the members.

          We have decided to circulate a questionnaire among the members for improving the branch activities and the revised minimum recommended fee structure to all members.

                During the month of June we had conducted two full day CPE seminar. In the first one day seminar, issues on Tax Audit and TDS provisions have been handled by CA. G. Sekhar and CA. Chaithanya respectively. The second one day seminar was on applicability of Indian Accounting Standard in the emerging scenario and Charities under IT Act 1961 . These sessions were handled by CA. Jomon. K. Geroge and CA. Ramnath respectively. On 21st June 2010, we had arranged a reception to all SIRC office bearers and we thank  the SIRC chairman and  all other office bearers for their active participation and support. The SIRC chairman CA Babu Kallivayalill, made the switch on of the new LCD TV purchased by the branch on that day.Also,  We had conducted a study circle meeting during the month for easy exit scheme of non operating companies.

The remaining games in connection with the CA day were conducted on 6th June 2010.

                 The 6th batch of GMCS classes successfully completed and the feed back from the students and members were very encouraging. We had conducted the crash course for CPT students those who are writing examination in June 2010. Our CPT classes are highly appreciated by the students and we thank all the faculties who are handling the classes in a highly professional way. Also we had conducted orientation classes of IPCC.

          We are proposing to organize various academic, social and cultural programmes during the next month. 1st of July is our day and we are planning to conduct various social activities. I request the member's whole hearted support for the same.
